Why I serve?
I believe in giving back to my community, in all aspects. Creating and supporting policies for those in our community who may be underserved and being able to give voice to their needs is a privilege I do not take lightly. I want every person in Simbury to be heard and have their concerns and issues taken seriously. Taxes are a big concern and burden on our residents. Businesses need to be supported while bringing in new growth responsibly to offset the burdens on small businesses and homeowners. With Democracy and our rights on the line, it is more important than ever to be a strong voice and active participant in our Town, our State and its government.

Why I love Simsbury:
The friends who are family have made Simsbury a place I do not want to leave. This is a town who comes together and helps each other in amazing ways and the welcoming community is something I love about Simsbury. I know that Simsbury is a safe place for my adult son with Autism and the businesses who employ him are invaluable for our community. I am always meeting new people and learning new things about Simsbury and their special place. This is to raise a family, grow up, and grow old. It truly is a home.
Fun Fact:
I grew up in Cold Spring Harbor on Long Island and met my husband at Penn State while dancing in Dance Marathon in 1992. Dance Marathon at Penn State is the largest student run philanthropy in the country ( and what Husky Thon was modeled after) and the year I danced was the first year we raised over $1 million.
