Why I serve?
I have lived in Simsbury for 18 years. All three of my sons attended Simsbury public schools. As an active senior, I want to give back to Simsbury for our future generations while also wanting to promote and further weave our seniors into the fabric of today.

I then worked with DCF reviewing psychotropic medications for children in foster care. I joined the Department of Developmental Services in 2012 where I worked with families for many years. I currently work part-time with DDS in the legal and government affairs division and maintain a small private practice.

Why I love Simsbury:
I describe Simsbury as both rural and suburban, "sub-rural." I enjoy the excellent health care access and am amazed at how fortunate we are to have so many services readily accessible. The convenience of nearby stores, restaurants, entertainment and easy access to hiking and many other outdoor adventures is a gift.
