Why I love Simsbury?
I have seen Simsbury grow in so many ways since we first moved here in 1969. One of the things I love most about Simsbury is, although it has grown and added many new places around town (the PAC, the library, etc.), it has done so with deliberation and care for the character of the town. People respect the history of Simsbury and are eager to preserve its uniqueness.
Fun Fact:
My first school here was Belden School, site of the present town hall. My 3rd grade classroom is where the present board of selectmen meet. The first selectman sits in my seat from 1969!
