Current Office: Treasurer, SDTC
Why I serve? I am proud to serve the Democratic town committee as its Treasurer as my first step of becoming involved in local politics. Apparently my ability to add 2+2=4 has some value in moving the blue wave forward in Simsbury!
Past or present Boards/Commission/Volunteer work: While I have never participated in local politics I have found jumping into the work of the DTC has been a great and welcoming way to be more involved in our great town. Putting up candidate yard signs and phone banking allowed me to get to know some of my neighbors and lesser traveled roads in town.
Employment History: My professional life is as a social services administrator and I am familiar with creating and maintaining budgets so my skillset fits nicely into this position.
Education: BA in social work, M.Div and MBA.
