Why do I serve?  I'd like to do my part to make Simsbury a vibrant, welcoming community that provides a wide range of opportunities to all its residents.

Past or present Boards/Commissions/Volunteer work:  Zoning Commission (Vice Chair); Executive Vice President and Secretary, Simsbury Historical Society; Simsbury Farms Commission (past); Provided pro bono legal services to Tariffville Village Association and Town Farm Dairy, including preparing corporate documents and filing for 501c3 non-profit status

Past member of board of directors: Nutmeg Big Brothers/Big Sisters; American Red Cross (CT Chapter); and Pro Bono Partnership

Why I love Simsbury: I love the easy access to a wide variety of outdoor activities. Simsbury is a great place to raise a family, with excellent schools, a diverse, engaged community and top-notch services for its residents. The town has maintained a good balance of open spaces and economic development as it has grown in population.

Fun Fact:  I'm probably the biggest Duke basketball fan in town
