Why I serve? Citizen engagement is critical to a thriving democracy and public service is a responsibility for all who live in our great country. My family has been part of the Town of Simsbury for more than 40 years. I want to give back to the town that has given so much to my wife, daughter, and I to keep our schools strong and our community affordable. Employment History: Currently serve as Vice President of Operations for Affinity Corporate Group, a leading occupational health, population, and disease management life sciences organization. Formerly an operations consultant for Fortune 100 companies including Progressive Insurance, The Hartford Insurance Group, and Aetna/CVS Health. Formerly, award-winning host and journalist in the National Public Radio system.
Education: Bachelors of Science in Broadcast Journalism from Syracuse University; MBA from Case Western Reserve University; Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt
Why I love Simsbury: I love the fact that I live just minutes from numerous local businesses and my home abuts miles and trails and open space. Simsbury has some of the best schools in the country and incredible parks and playgrounds. The value we get for what it costs to live here is incredible and there’s nowhere I’d rather raise a family.
Fun Fact: While working as a talk radio show host in 2008, I had the opportunity to interview Joe Biden.
