Steven T. Antonio

Board of Selectmen

Why do I serve? My father taught me to give back to the town whenever I can. My mother taught me that complaining about the way things are or have been does nothing; but getting involved does. I am proud to be a Simsbury resident for life and want to preserve the beauty of it for my children and their children.

Why I love Simsbury: Simsbury is my life. I grew up and attended public schools in this great town and am proud to be raising my children here. They too are able to experience innocence at a young age, yet the solid footing and growth I was fortunate enough to have had. Snuggled into the beautiful Farmington Valley of New England; we get to enjoy each of the four seasons with room to play, enjoy water activities, conduct business and most importantly; feel safe. Simsbury is home to me in every connotation of that word.

Fun Fact: The roller coaster in my backyard is a 1954 Allan Herschell Little Dipper from the Maine Fairgrounds. It is the same model I rode at Riverside Park during my youth. (Riverside Park is now called Six Flags New England).
